The Trans Cambrian Way?

The Trans Cambrian Way is a long distance mountain bike route spanning the width of Wales from Knighton to Dovey Junction on the west coast. The route is approximately 100 miles long and crosses through some very remote countryside. Originally devised and mapped by IMBA, it was intended to be a 3 day ride. There are plenty of riders who will find a 3 day crossing a satisfying challenge ... then there are the 'others'!

What's ITT?

ITT stands for Independent Time Trial. An ITT isn't a race, it's a personal challenge, just you against the clock and the route. If you want to compare your time against others that's fine but for many, it's the personal satisfaction from knowing they gave it their all, that really counts.

An ITT certainly isn't for everyone. Some people will derive greater enjoyment from completing it at a more sedate pace ... it's a great bikepacking route for those who like to sleep occasionally!

Not everyone's looking for a fast time ... some are looking for a good time!
